Day 55 - Life Plans

Beloved traveler, as we near the end of our week on gentle blueprints, remember this crucial truth: life is dynamic. Your blueprints should be flexible, allowing for adjustments and detours. Embrace adaptability and avoid rigid expectations. A truly wise architect designs not just for the present but for potential shifts and changes. Holding your plans lightly allows for creativity, resilience, and a deep sense of peace, even when the path unfolds differently than anticipated.

Weekly Affirmation

I gently lay blueprints for my vision, rebuilding my life with intentional and kind steps.

Somatic Space

Stand or sit comfortably. Imagine you are holding a delicate blueprint in your hands. Now, gently crinkle it a little, then smooth it out. Notice how it can be adapted and still hold its form. Feel the sense of freedom that comes from knowing your plans can bend without breaking. Release any need for perfection or rigid control.

Daily Scripture

"Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails." — Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)

This proverb beautifully encapsulates the need for flexible planning. While we diligently lay our plans, we also acknowledge a higher purpose at play. This perspective encourages us to be adaptable, knowing that even if our specific plans shift, the overarching good we seek to create can still prevail.

Journal Prompts

  • Think of a time your plans unexpectedly changed. How did flexibility (or lack thereof) impact the outcome?

  • What is one area of your current vision where you might be holding too rigidly to an outcome? How can you invite more flexibility there?

  • How can embracing adaptability foster a greater sense of peace as you rebuild?
