Day 8- Your Present Self
A Gentle Inventory.
Welcome to Week 2 ! As we step into this new week, our journey shifts to a deeper self-inventory. This isn't about judgment, but about recognizing the unique tapestry of who you are right now. We'll explore your thoughts, unique traits, likes, and opportunities for growth, simply holding space for awareness. Just as a gardener first observes their plot, let's look at what's currently growing within you.
Weekly Prayer
Dear God, As we begin this week, we pray for the courage to see ourselves with kindness. Help us to lovingly observe our unique traits, our likes, and the areas where we can grow, knowing that you have made us "fearfully and wonderfully." Remind us that our value is already woven into who we are. Thank you for this truth, and for helping us to cultivate our best selves in you.
Amen.
Weekly Affirmation
I lovingly observe my whole self—my thoughts, my unique traits, my likes, and my opportunities for growth—holding gentle space for all that I am, knowing that this awareness is the first step to cultivating my thriving truth.
Word of the Day
Psalm 139:14 (KJV) "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."
This verse is a beautiful reminder that you are created with purpose and intention. You don’t have to earn your value—it's already woven into the fabric of who you are. This week, we're simply taking a moment to see the masterpiece God has already made.
How does the idea of being "fearfully and wonderfully made" change how you view your present self?
